SPECIAL MEETING

VILLAGE BOARD OF THE VILLAGE OF LAKE VILLA

September 17, 2008

 

 

 

CALL TO ORDER:                   The Special Meeting of the Village Board of the Village of Lake Villa was called to order at 7:05 p.m. on September 17, 2008 at the Lake Villa Village Hall.

 

SALUTE THE FLAG:                The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor Loffredo.

 

ROLL CALL:                             Roll call indicated the following present:  Mayor Loffredo; Clerk Brownlee; Attorney Bateman, Trustees Dykstra, Hall, Harms, McDonald and Trkla.  Trustee Effinger was absent.  With a quorum present the meeting was called to order.

 

MAYOR:                                     Discussion relative to the Lake Vista Subdivision Letter of Credit

 

Executive Session:                     It was moved by Tr. McDonald and seconded by Tr. Hall to go into Executive Session at  9:20 pm. for the purpose of Litigation Probable or Imminent with explanation in Executive Session.

                                                      ROLL CALL VOTE WAS:         AYES:    5              MOTION CARRIED                          

RECONVENE:                           It was moved by Tr. Harms and seconded by Tr. Hall to reconvene the Special Meeting of the Village Board at 9:45 pm.

                                                      ROLL CALL VOTE WAS:         AYES:    5              MOTION CARRIED

 

 

ADJOURNMENT:                     It was moved by Tr. Dykstra and seconded by Tr. Trkla to continue the Special Meeting of the Village Board to 12:00 noon on September 18, 2008.  Time out is 9:55 pm.
