WHEREAS, the amended Open Meetings Act which took affect January 1, 1982, requires notification of meetings to be held by the municipality, and    WHEREAS, the Village of Lake Villa, Illinois, desires to make all of its meeting dates available to the public and news media,    NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LAKE VILLA, ILLINOIS, that its schedule of meetings for the year 2009 is as follows:

That the Mayor and Village Board of the Village of Lake Villa, Illinois shall have Committee Meetings of the entire Board or Committees thereof on every Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. The ARCHITECTURAL Board will meet the third Monday of every month at 8:00 p.m., the PARKS and RECREATION will be meeting the second Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. and the Police Commission will be meeting the first Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m. All of the above meetings will be held in the Village Hall located at 65 Cedar Avenue, Lake Villa, Illinois. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be posted in the Village Hall and that a copy be forwarded to all news media who have requested it.
