The Village of Lake Villa is publishing a fillable Building Permit Application when applying for a building permit.  The building permit application is a fillable PDF document that can be saved and filled out using your computer or tablet.  When the application is complete and the required documents are compiled, please mail the packet to the Village of Lake Villa, PO Box, 519 Lake Villa, Illinois 60046, or bring it to the Village Hall located at 65 Cedar Avenue in Lake Villa.

Building permits are required for projects like decks, additions, alterations, new structures, plumbing, electrical, furnace replacements, swimming pools, etc.  Those completing a fence, hot water heater, window or air conditioner replacement, re-roof, re-siding, and shed, gazebo and pergola structure under 200 square feet can simply submit for a Building Registration online at www.lake-villa.org/buildingregistrations
