Love trains? Interested in Lake County History? Join the Grayslake Historical Society and learn more about both in this fun all day bus tour of local museums. Participants will follow the old Wisconsin Central Railroad tracks from Antioch to Buffalo Grove, with stops at Lake Villa, Mundelein and Grayslake. Each stop will involve a private tour of the local museum to learn about the history of each town and how it was affected by the railway. In between the museum stops, train historian Terry Norton will be on the bus to tell more stories of the fascinating history of railroads in Northern Illinois.
